Life has been good so far, I'm carrying a mixture of feelings going back school.. I feel it's normal, something that most people will agree due to uncertainties and well.. to be in a new environment. I believe after a short period of time adapting to the life as an undergraduate, I wouldn't be feeling this way.

Relating back to the previous post, I've made progression by learning mathematical induction. I do not claim to be really proficient in solving just any problems, but I'm grateful that I managed to solve 3/4 of NYJC's tutorial on the topic. Hope my thirst on always wanting to learn something new will continue and not cease!

PGPR application had been unsuccessful, I'm currently placed on the waiting list. Wanqi told me that the chances of securing the residence should be pretty high for freshmen, I just hope things will work out well in the end. Nevertheless, I shouldn't be a sitting duck waiting for that to happen, time to adjust my lifestyle just in case I couldn't secure one when school begins.

Other things have been on my mind, pretty encouraged by Sing Jie, a poly graduate who scored CAP 4.64/5.00 for his very first semester in NUS. I am grateful as well that he replied my email! He shared with me some of his insights on life in school coming from poly background as well as giving me advice on academic matters. Really appreciate it for the fact that we do not know each other and he is willing to lend a helping hand.

Very grateful for everything that's happening! I'm setting my sights high but with a realistic outlook.
